History
The Zeta Alpha Chapter
Pi Sigma Epsilon is Cornell University's premier professional business fraternity. The Pi Sigma Epsilon Zeta Alpha chapter was founded in 2006 by a group of Cornellians interested in establishing a business fraternity with a focus in sales, marketing, and management. The organization had an immediate impact on campus, and since then PSE has grossly expanded its alumni network and campus presence. The fraternity now focuses on all aspects of business and has grown to include all majors on campus.
National Fraternity
Pi Sigma Epsilon was established in 1952 by Lloyd L. Antle, an Ohio University graduate and Professor of Marketing at Georgia State University. 72 years later, PSE unites a network of over 70,000 members spanning the globe from all fields and backgrounds. PSE’s alumni have held positions that range from Fortune 500 CEOs to startup founders, and have enabled us to provide our members with the guidance and skills necessary to further their professional skills, experience, and network on an unparalleled level.
Alumni
Our fraternity is designed to expose our brothers to different industry professionals, by executing numerous events throughout the academic year. Recruiters, besides attending the general Cornell University information session, take the time to come speak personally to our brotherhood. Our strong alumni network helps in connecting our brotherhood with these recruiters, allowing us to host these exclusive professional networking events.
Our brothers pursue a variety of careers in industries such as human capital management, sales and trading, investment banking, consulting, law, design, marketing, and merchandising. Aside from helping our brotherhood secure the most sought after internships and jobs, we are an organization that provides Cornell students with a network of friends while on campus and beyond graduation.

Rach's Hope
In August 2018, one of our brothers Rachel Doran, passed away due to Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis Syndrome (TENS), rare reactions to common medications that struck her without warning. Rachel was a Fashion Design major with a minor in Business. She was an integral member and friend to everyone in our PSE family. In Rachel's memory, the Dorans created Rach’s Hope, a fund that provides families with both emotional and financial support in the face of critical illness.
The Rach’s Hope Foundation assists families who are struggling
with the fatal illness of a loved one by helping them find support
in many ways. By providing access to mental health professionals, therapy services, housing accommodations and transportation, Rach’s Hope aims to help others in the way the Doran Family was helped during their time of need. Every semester, PSE plans, markets, and runs a philanthropic event to raise money for a philanthropic organization, and we are honored to continue raising money in Rachel’s honor.
